What is the difference between our Semi-custom service and our Custom floral services?

Jean Petite Semi-Custom floral services are designed for clients looking for a fast and easy approach to selecting their florals for their wedding. You know what you want already, and we are able to take your vision and run with it! With Jean Petite, our design process is streamlined to include a condensed consultation process and a more limited offering of products more suited for more intimate events and gatherings. 

What service best suits my needs: Jean Petite or Duia and Jean?

Our Jean Petite services are best suited for clients with budgets in the $1.5K-$8K range. Jean Petite is perfect for those clients looking for floral pieces that have minimal set up or break down needs and if you already have a strong vision for your design! Jean Petite offers fewer rounds of design revisions and no digital renderings. 

Our Duia and Jean services are best suited for clients with a budget above $8.5K for florals and are looking for large scale floral pieces such as arches and venue installations. These clients will benefit more from our extended approach to designing their ceremony and reception spaces as this service provides multiple rounds of design consultations and revisions as well as digital rendering services.

Can I order "off menu items" for Jean Petite services?

The short answer, yes! We have constructed our product menu for Jean Petite to include those items typically found in more intimate weddings and events. However, if you are looking for something that is not listed, we are happy to assist you in applying those items in your design plan.

How will my services be quoted?

After filling out our Request for Quote Questionnaire, you will be contacted by our team to set up a discovery call. From this consultation we will provide you a one page mood-board for your design and a firm quote for the items discussed.

Because no two events are alike, pricing for quotes is built on a cost pricing model set at a fair market value for all designs!

What are your Terms of Service?

All clients booked with either Jean Petite or Duia and Jean are subject to our terms of service agreement. At the time of booking you and our team will exchange a contract for the design services quoted to you during our design phase. For Jean Petite clients a non-refundable 25% retainer is required at the time of booking followed up with outlined payment installment dates leading up to the day of the event. 

Why is there a service minimum?

Jean Petite services are subject to a $1.5K floral service minimum before taxes and delivery. This budget ensures that we are still able to purchase materials in bulk to get you the largest variety of materials and colorways indicative of our textural signature style. 

How much say do I have in material selection for my flowers?

 If there is a particular flower you hope to have in your design, we will make every effort to make this possible. Jean Petite takes your materials preferences into account when designing your florals. However, in order to stick to the desired budget and color palette, all designs for this service are "Designers Choice" and adjustments may be made to accommodate the design parameters at the time of sourcing.

Can I customize my colors?

Of course! The beauty of our semi-custom service is that you need not be limited to a predesigned catalog of color ranges. We design your color palette based on your inspiration and is approved by you at the time of booking!

Can I remove items from my order?

Generally yes, as long as you are not within the 30 day mark of your event, and the $1.5K minimum for your order is met. However, please contact our office to review your options and if you have any questions on your contract as it may include terms specific to your event.

Can I repurpose my ceremony arrangements to my reception as part of our Jean Petite services?

While we love repurposing designs from ceremony to reception, it's a great way to get a lot of bang for your buck! Flip services are not included as part of our Jean Petite semi-custom services. Jean Petite is designed to be cost effective service for premium floral designs for those couples on a budget. So much of the cost of floral services is attributed to the labor needed to perform certain actions such as installations, flips, and strike services.

Can we email you at any time?

We are here for you during your planning process! However before reaching out, please refer to the FQA page here. Often, we have heard the question before and have done our best to answer our client's questions preemptively on this page. 

Questions can also be answered during the 30 minute discovery call at booking, and during our pre-event call scheduled around the 45 day mark from your wedding day!

How do we select our vessels for our event, and can we use our own?

We will be happy to discuss the type of vessels we will use for your floral designs, we have a wide range of options that you will be sure to love. Standard vessels for your designs are yours to keep. Rental items are not included in most of the products offered for our Jean Petite services. However, if a rental item is needed for your event, we will be sure to make you aware and will arrange the return of that item. 

However, we do not offer the ability to use your own vessels for the event. No two vessels are alike and unfortunately sizing of vessels effects pricing significantly. So to streamline your service, vessels will be provided by our studio exclusively.

How much consultation time will I receive with Jean Petite

Please know that we are always here for you during the planning process! With Jean Petite, we have simplified selecting your florals for intimate weddings and events. Our typical consultation protocall follows a three point process. 

First a 30 minute Discovery Call to review your design inspiration and to gain an understanding of your floral needs. 

Next a Clarity Call before booking to review your quote/s and clarify any questions you have about your package. 

Last, a Details Call around the 45 day mark from your event to review last minute changes and to solidify your final invoice.
